Management
Maurice Mayes and Maureen Hill are not applying for re-election to the board in October. The Board would like to thank Maurice (28 years) and Maureen (8 years) for the years of service and dedication given to the club, which has ensured that the high quality of the club has been maintained right up to the present day.

The Board are pleased to announce that

have agreed to join the board of directors.

Mid?Week Team Captain (Male or Female) still wanted. Why not share the duties with a fellow bowler or offer to be captain on odd days?

Wey Valley are pleased to announce that

has agreed to take over the
CATERING FRANCHISE
for the club
The Daisy Chain cafe
will supply all catering requirements
Duncan Heard will liase with Nickie for some special events. Please support Nickie with booking for weddings, parties, club dinners, funerals etc.

Association AGM will be on
Monday 3 rd October starting at 7.30pm
followed by confirmation of club officers and presentation of league winners prizes.

Membership numbers are holding at around 500 but we need to recruit a minimum of 100 new members a season. We have established contact with Cubs, Scouts, George Abbott school. Guildford College and County School. Also with the help of Active Surrey we will visit local schools to try and attract youngsters to our Vikings

Why not bring a friend and introduce them to bowling. (still only £50 subscription for first year)
As part of our Guildford community support we have agreed to be the clubhouse for the ?Junior and Senior Park Runs.? This means that parents and runners come for a cup of tea after the run on every Saturday and Sunday morning 9 ? 11am.

Dales will replace the faulty underlay before the start of the season , this means that the green will be slightly slower over the first few months.

COACHING
Are you a qualified coach and willing to join WV coaching team? A meeting will be called for all coaches to meet and discuss the restructuring of the club?s coaching approach going forward contact
