GREAT RESULTS FOR WEY VALLEY JUNIORS (Vikings)
In The English Bowling Youth Development Scheme (EBYDS) - 2010 Surrey Singles Competitions

Splendid bowling was the form from all participants when several Wey Valley Vikings bowled their way successfully through a series of skill tests and round robin matches to beat their own Club mates and juniors from other Surrey Clubs
in the U15yrs and U18 years Surrey Events.

At the Under15 years event held at Egham Indoor Bowling Club on 17 th January Wey Valley Vikings
Billy Ladd and Adam Boarer, showing spirit and determination, successfully progressed to meet one another in the singles finals match. Adam kept the composure that he had displayed throughout and bowled well to beat his Club mate in an exciting finish to the day.

At the U18 yrs event held at the Guildford Wey Valley Indoor Bowling Club on 24 th January two Wey Valley Vikings
Joe Parker and Marcus Street came up against one another in the Semi finals after some excellent day’s bowling by both. Marcus won and met Kelly McCarthy from Egham I.B.C. in the final - where after a thrilling game he emerged the victor.

Wey Valley has a thriving youth section and welcomes Boys and Girls aged 8 -17 yrs..
